Sarah Burgess teams up with Axalta for the 2019 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series


Tooele, UT, February 11, 2019 – Sarah Burgess announced today that she will team up with Axalta for a select number of races in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. In addition to representing the brand on the race track, she will be a part of the Axalta Racing Family through social media and as an ambassador at several NASCAR races throughout the year.

Sarah is entering her fifth season of the short course off-road series and has continued to make great progress each year. Sarah commented on the partnership, “Being a part of the Axalta Racing family this year is a great asset for our team, crossing the Axalta brand into alternative forms of motorsports shows the diversity of the company and their passion for racing”.

The Prolite truck will feature a rendition of the ‘Primary Colors’ paint scheme that is run on many Axalta-sponsored Motorsports liveries throughout the Americas at select races of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. The first round kicking off March 16th at Glen Helen Raceway, and then hitting various other locations across the country as well as Ensenada Mexico.

Sarah has a unique and diverse background knowing what it takes to achieve goals. She has been competitive her entire life including short track speed skating at an international level. Sarah’s skill set includes owning and operating a high-performance workshop in Australia where she was a mechanic, fabricator and designed and CNC machined performance accessories. She moved to the USA to follow her passion and has competed nationally in drifting, and short course off road. Sarah has also been a mentor to high school students and a guest speaker at a variety of events including US Army YES program talking about the automotive industry and the importance of STEM education.
